Global Clearing Product Team:
J.P. Morgan has one of the largest Clearing franchises in the world, processing over $6 tri in value per day and is the breeding ground for innovation and true thought-leader in the industry. The Global Clearing Product team is responsible for product performance, strategy and development of USD, EUR, GBP Clearing Services, Continuous Linked Settlement (CLS) and Clearing House Settlement Services (CHSS) delivered to clients globally.
We are seeking a highly motivated product manager with relevant payments experience to manage EUR Clearing. The role involves being accountable for day-to-day product delivery, managing a broad range of stakeholders and ensuring all risks are appropriately identified and controlled. The role will be based in Frankfurt, Germany, from where we operate our EUR clearing hub.
Day-to-day execution of all EUR Clearing product functions, ensuring J.P. Morgan's standards of service quality are achieved
Subject matter expert on all aspects of EUR Clearing
Managing internal product stakeholders and client escalations
Accountability for local execution of the global clearing product management strategy
Identifying and controlling all risks inherent in the product; maintaining an up-to-date Know Your Product (KYP) document and driving programs to further reduce risks
Ensuring up-to-date implementation and service procedures are maintained for the product
Accountability for timely and accurate completion of annual clearing certification and other market infrastructure requirements
Providing appropriate product engagement and oversight during incidents; ensuring required follow-ups (e.g. reporting) for the product are completed
Full understanding of product financials, including tracking and managing product costs
Providing content and delivering training programs to internal stakeholders and clients on EUR Clearing
Maintain regular client interactions, to inform and be informed by the voice of the customer
Providing input to complex deals and non-standard proposals involving EUR Clearing
Local regulatory engagement, as required by J.P. Morgan being a critical EUR clearing participant and provider of critical (EUR Clearing) services
Accountable for specific Recovery and Resolution requirements relating to the EUR Clearing product
Demonstrating leadership in relevant industry committees, forums and working groups.
Strong interest in product management; previous product or other payments experience;
Driven and structured individual, results driven with proven track record of delivery
Analytical skills and attention to detail with strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation / influencing skills
Ability to learn the technical and operational aspects of the product quickly
Project management, operational/technology experience a benefit
Demonstrated track record of identifying and managing risk
Entrepreneurial spirit with a positive and tenacious attitude
Proactive, takes ownership of initiatives from the start and sees through to completion
Degree/MBA qualification preferred
