As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible to manage the payroll for APAC &/ EMEA Countries. You will translate company policies and business agreements in to deliverable processes. Primary responsibility is to support the payroll functionality of the in-house payroll team, supporting the multi-country payroll processing of employees using the ADP/Celergo payroll system.
To develop, implement and continuously improve and automate payroll deliverables
Provide end to end production support during monthly/different frequency payroll processing
Ensure delivery of recurring Payroll Reporting products and new projects as they arise
Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
Prepare monthly reconciliation of payroll clearing accounts and general ledger related activities for submission to risk management
Analyses the trend of issues/cases raised and propose recommended changes either to process and/or policy with the intent of improving efficiency and addressing potential gaps
Assist in documentation of all key payroll related procedures with periodic reviews to ensure internal and regulatory requirements are maintained
Adhere to payroll governance process
Assist payroll manager, supporting the team for payroll processing activities as required
Working knowledge of APAC/EMEA legislation requirements
Strong knowledge in monthly &/ year-end tax and tax clearance processes
Work on process improvements by looking at alignment across payroll locations/ countries and proposing on best practices within payroll processing
Execute time and attendance processing and interface with payroll
Perform compliances for payroll checks
Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary
Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
Skills & Expertise:
Working knowledge of ADP/Celergo Payroll processing along with other payroll systems
Working knowledge of payroll integration (ERP to ADP/Celergo)
Experience in APAC, EMEA/ regional payroll
Excellent team player and good working attitude
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English
Excellent organization/ prioritization skills
Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, work well under pressure
Anticipate needs; demonstrate initiative and pro-activeness
Ability to work and use discretion with confidential information
Ability to work on own initiative without supervision
Proficient in Word, intermediate Excel Knowledge
Education & Experience:
10-14 years of hands on payroll domain experience
* BE/B.Tech/MCA or Equivalent
