The Health Technology team is looking for an experienced Computer Vision/Signal Processing Engineer that is slightly impatient and willing to face down their fear of failure to accomplish bold things. A successful candidate in this role is self-driven, passionate, and be able to execute consistently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communications skills are key as we work with many internal and external engineering teams, partners, architects, and product leaders. This engineer will be tasked with establishing and delivering the roadmap of camera-based ML efforts aimed at improving morbidity, mortality, and burden of cost in health outcomes. This position is full-time.

<ul><li>Study state-of-the-art algorithms in the field of camera-based signal processing</li><li>Suggest, collect and synthesize requirements and create effective feature roadmap</li><li>Design new algorithms, or adaptations to existing algorithms, that will enable novel capabilities</li><li>Collaborate closely with algorithm developers, system architects and designers to support the creation of innovative and impactful experiences</li><li>Code deliverables in tandem with the engineering team</li><li>Assess and recommend emerging technologies through close partnership with external, industry leading suppliers</li><li>Analyze and improve efficiency of algorithms</li></ul>

<ul><li>Experience in signal processing, sensor fusion, and pattern recognition</li><li>Expert knowledge developing and debugging in C/C++ and/or Python</li><li>Technical skills in statistical analysis and scientific reasoning</li><li>Understanding of the mathematical underpinnings of algorithms</li></ul>

<ul><li>MS degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field with 5+ years of machine learning related work or research, or PhD degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field</li></ul>
