Duties: Develop and maintain architecture roadmaps for analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence platforms. Develop and implement infrastructure solution designs for business requirements for data scientists and applications using the platforms. Conceptualize, develop, and deploy innovation and modernization plans for the platforms. Develop reinforcement learning models for decision management and virtual agents. Develop and deploy AIOps tools with automated decision making self-heal capabilities. Design and implement agile end-to-end AI solutions, including: computer vision, speech recognition, natural language processing, decision making, robotic platform automation, augmented reality, and real-time streaming analytics. Partner with Data Domain owners on strategic infrastructure roadmap planning, budget management, big data architecture planning, technology lifecycle management, and AI and ML solutions engineering. Participate in firmwide strategy development for big data analysis, AI, and ML. Drive big data projects to develop advanced capabilities for transformation journey to modernization and placement. Drive compute modernization strategy with optimized hardware acceleration for AI infrastructure. Build best-in-class collaborative relationships with JPMC's business lines, research emerging technology ecosystem, and present outcome to decision makers to influence partner infrastructure roadmap and strategy.


Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as Application/Software Developer, Analytics Architect, Data Scientist, AI Research Scientist, or related role. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree and five (5) years of experience in lieu of a PhD and three (3) years of experience.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: developing analytical queries and ML models in data science disciplines for segmentation analysis; designing run-time algorithms and implementing AI solutions by developing models including: NER for NLP, SLAM for AR or multi-agent systems, Object detection for Computer vision, and OCR diagnostics for RPA; programming in Python, MATLAB, Java, and C++; and design, development and implementation of complex Augmented Reality systems deploying Human-Machine interfaces with IoT. This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: designing run-time algorithms and implementing AI solutions by developing models including: Markov decision process (MDPs) for reinforcement learning or decision making, Dijkstra to A* Heuristics for Path planning, and Transcription for Speech; SRE practices including AI-enabled Anomoly detection algorithms for IT Operations; triage and troubleshooting operational problems using telemetry tools-Splunk and Dynatrace; design, development and deployment of Cybersecurity solutions utilizing data mining or information retrieval tasks with self-healing for remediation; designing and developing deep learning architecture utilizing parallel and distributed computing including flash-SSD acceleration and NVidia GPUs using CUDA APIs; Big data tools including: Spark Streaming, Kafka, Talend, Neo4j, MongoDB with ESRI ArcGis, Cassandra, Attunity, and Spring cloud or Spring XD; advanced analytics platform including: Anaconda solutions, Alteryx,, and IBM Watson solutions; Deep Learning framework including Tensorflow and Keras; deploying applications to EC2, S3, and EMR containers on AWS using CloudFormation; Azure or GCP; and designing and transforming onsite infrastructure landscape into private cloud, integrating Docker container and orchestrating with Kubernetes or Pivotal Cloud Foundry using terraform and ansible, including automated deployments using CICD pipeline with Jules and Jenkins.Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America's households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
