Senior Product Manager, Technical - AI/Machine Learning at Hypatos GmbH (Berlin, Deutschland)

YOUR MISSION

• Shape the vision of Hypatos AI products, based on Deep Learning technology
• Facilitate the Machine Learning and Engineering teams to manage uncertainties in the innovative technological area based on the anticipated customer needs
• Represent the voice of end customers for data scientists and Machine Learning engineers, data factory, and product delivery team
• Prioritize among multiple projects and working tasks while working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, esp. product delivery, application development, and system engineering/DevOps
• Build a product portfolio and maintain product roadmaps
• Plan product components development, that includes providing API, integration with user-facing part of the solution
• Define use cases based on the customer journey and business needs
• Ensure delivered product features will provide optimal business value

YOUR PROFILE

• Passion for AI and Machine Learning: You understand the potential benefits that ML and AI can bring for solving business problems, as well as limitations, and you are very passionate about the technology.
• Digital product management: You have a solid understanding of digital/software product management. You know how to drive the team through define, design, develop and deliver phases
• Thoughtful problem-solving: For you, problem-solving starts with a clear and accurate understanding of the context. You can decompose tricky problems and work towards a clean solution. You're comfortable asking for help when you get stuck.
• Agile: You are used to working in agile environments, and you are tweaking the process every day to make it more efficient
• Pragmatic and business-oriented: You care about the business impact of what you're building, and you prioritize accordingly. You're not just going after cool stuff—you understand the balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line.
• Data-driven decision making: you are number-driven and know what data to collect and how to interpret the KPIs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience. You are familiar with deep learning modeling and frameworks, e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow.
• Leadership. Working with team conducting experiments, focusing on R&D type of activities would be a huge plus
• Business domain: Former experience in industries like accounting, banking, or payment is a plus
