Susten Capital Management Inc. is an early stage investment management firm (hedge fund) in Tokyo founded by ex-Goldman Sachs in 2019.

We're now hiring a developer to help us build a core analytics foundation of our ML driven investment strategies and ship an online investment service for everyone. 

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement investment strategies with our Founder/Chief Investment Officer for managing our client asset as well as our own corporate capital 
• Develop in Python and build/improve our core analytics platform for machine learning-based trading strategies
• Build and maintain a full scale ML workflow for algorithm trading strategies on a day-to-day basis

Qualifications:

• Must-haves:
• Great statistical and math skills as well as computer science
• 1-3 years of experience in data science/ML project
• Excellent communication, "roll-up the sleeves" attitude, and problem solving skills
• Nice to haves:
• Experiences in data science competition is preferred
• Experiences in finance/investment projects
• No Japanese is required
