Data Scientist (m/w/d) - Machine Learning at Invia Group (Berlin, Deutschland)

As a Data Scientist (m/w/d) - Machine Learning you will turn our data into the models which help us to serve the best products to our customers.

Your tasks

• Investigate and evaluate data science approaches for product enhancements
• Develop scalable and effected deep learning models classifying travel related data
• Analyse the efficiency and curate a long-term strategy for your models
• Team up with our Machine Learning Engineer to integrate your models with our services
• Work with product managers, designers and development teams to bring your ideas to our customers

Your profile

• University degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Solid understanding of math and statistics
• A passion for finding pragmatic and smart solutions to complex problems
• Confidence with machine learning techniques and algorithms (DQN, RCNN, DNN)
• First experience in programming Python or R and relevant machine learning libraries (Numpy, TensorFlow, pyTorch, scikit-learn etc.)
• Familiarity with insights of data science in a cloud-based environment (Google Big Query, Spark) is beneficial
• Fluent spoken and written German or English
