AWS Cloud Engineering Lead (VP) at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. (Plano, TX)

This job opportunity is to join JPMorgan's Data Technology team in Plano and work on the creation of a cloud based state of the art Data platform that would help Data SMEs ingest, transform, model data and make it ready for commercialization through the commercialization tool.

Roles, Responsibilities and skill sets requiredd

Work with enterprise solution and data architects, product owners, project managers and other stakeholders to gather and understand data and system requirements and design data solutions
Architect, Design and Build a secure data platform using a combination of AWS services and Big data tools
The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in building batch and streaming based data pipelines using AWS services
Should have hands-on experience in Big Data storage and processing frameworks like Hadoop,Spark,Hive,etc
Should have hands-on experience with any programming language (Python - Preferred)
Should be able to troubleshoot and debug issues related to data processing and application development
Experience in building and supporting large scale data processing systems in a production environment
Good knowledge in AWS Cloud services related to compute, storage, networking, messaging, automation (Cloudformation, Terraform, etc.) and data
Strong knowledge in IAM and access control
Experience in working on migration of data platforms from on-premise to AWS and database migrations
Good knowledge on concepts related to data warehousing, database modelling, data quality and reference data management
Good knowledge on Data/ETL testing
Eager to explore new cloud offerings and continue to improve and optimize data storage and processing and application deployment
Nice to Have
Experience with Elastic Logstash Kibana (ELK) stack
Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk,Datadog,etc
Basic understanding of data science and ML techniques


3+ years of hands on experience in building data platform using AWS services and Big data tools
10+ years of overall experience in software development and testing
Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
